I have been very busy since I became a mom. I didn’t have time for some of my hobbies during my school days, but now, I’m slowly getting them back.
This is my blog about what I do during my spare time, other than blogging. I will update the progress of my projects here, and if you like knitting, crochet, cross stitch or art, feel free to drop by this blog of mine.

Hi
I live in Burma, but I come to Bangkok often to go shopping. I’ve just started knitting and I’d like to know if you can recommend any good places to pick up some cotton to knit and some needles?
Thanks
Joanne
Joanne, you can get them from Robinson or Central department stores. Just ask the customer service and they will be honored to show you the counter. Nonetheless, I found that the don’t have a lot of variety for cotton yarns, but you can still get some knitting needles.
I am also interested in finding some yarn to continue my crochet hobby while living in Bangkok. Where do you buy your yarn? There is a little shop in the market where I live that sells some yarn for cheap but only a very fine variety and only about 6 colors. I got the suggestion for the third floor of Emporium, but I have not been there yet.
Jenna, I haven’t been to Emporium for some time, so I’m not sure about that shop too. I did find a counter selling yarn at Central, Future Park. If you are staying near Rangsit, you can come here and have a look. I’m still using my yarns from Malaysia, which I stocked up before moving over.
Hello, i came across your website and feel that we are quite alike.
I am a busy working mom handling 2 daughters at the age of 10 and 11. I love knitting, crochet, cross-stitch etc since i was schooling. I do my handicraft now after work or waiting for kids at school.
I like your craft and your site. It is amazing seeing you draft your own patterns. I use patterns from Japan most of the time.
Happy knitting..
Cheers,
Sharon
Hi Sharon, thanks for dropping by. I’m slowing down in my projects since I moved to Bangkok, but I’m still knitting my dress.
Same as you, I like those from Japan too, the patterns are more trendy huh?
