My Boy’s Tee in Hamanaka Yarn
Posted on November 3, 2009 - Filed Under Knit, Tee
I didn’t plan to knit for my kids when I was back last month, but my kids were asking for new knit wears. Both of them like to get new knit wears from me from time to time, and I don’t know why. LOL! So, I bought some yarn balls from Hamanaka in beige, pink and brown and knit a tee for him.

Hamanaka yarn balls in beige, pink and brown.
This is one of my fastest project as it’s completed in 5 days. LOL!

Day 2: Completed the front part with 4mm knitting needle.

Day 4: Completed the back part, with an eagle as requested by my boy.

Day 5: Completed the sleeves.
I passed the part of joining and hiding loose yarns to the shop, as usual.
I know, I’m cheating. LOL! But I don’t like to join my projects, so I prefer to pay for the service.
So, here’s the end result:

My boy in his new tee in Hamanaka yarn. It’s very comfortable and suitable for the cool weather in Thailand now.

Here’s the back of his tee. I think the eagle was not nicely done.
I might bring this tee back to the shop on my next trip home. Let’s see if they can help me to fix the “not-so-perfect” spot.

hey, how long have u been knitting? u knew knitting since little or have to take course or wat? me so ignorant
Allthingspurple, wah seh, got such thing under yahoo ah? LOL! I’ve never known.
Just buy the material from the shops, most of them will provide free lessons. Once you are confident enough, you can do it on your own.
Oh, no lunch next year? You will be pretty busy then. I was about to send Justin to a new school but no lunch, so I canceled my plan. Without lunch, I have to pack one breakfast break, one lunch and one tea bento as school finishes at 3pm before extra classes start. It’s too hard for me, so I “dumped” that school. LOL!
I learned crochet at primary, and knitting at uni. That time, wanna impressed my ex-boyfriend mah, so went to learn from the knitting shop. LOL! I regained this hobby again after Isabelle is slightly older. It’s quite fun.
