My Knit Dress in Creamy Filatura Di Crosa Pasta Yarn

Posted on October 29, 2008 - Filed Under Dress, Knit

I have a few projects on hand, but my knitting progress has slowed down a lot. I don’t knit much but only a few rows before bedtime. That’s the only time I have for knitting these days. Previously, I used to knit in the car, but these days, I have to navigate by looking at the map so that we don’t get lost on our outings in Bangkok. LOL! On normal days, I am just plain lazy. :P

I guess I will return some yarns to the shop as I don’t feel like working on Zara wool yarns. I have sensitive nose, and I keep sneezing when knitting with Zara yarns. Thus, I will send them back to the shop when I fly back soon.

As for the time being, I’m knitting myself a dress with creamy Filatura Di Crosa Pasta yarn. The dress should look like this…

…as shown in my previous post….But I have only done an inch!

I will be very slow in this project as I keep referring to the knitting pattern. It’s different for every row until the first full pattern is completed. I guess this project will keep me occupied for a few months…

Wow, you even do a worksheet by yourself. The knitting shop usually photocopy the page I want, then I will do all the writing there and it become very messy.

Momkidspace, oh, that worksheet was drawn by the lady from the knitting shop. She always draws for me in detailed so that it’s easier for me to knit on my own. Which knitting you go normally?

oops.. I started by knit cardigan, tops for my girl Jasmine. However, the end project always not satisfied. Its either too small/too big/not neat/not nice. Unlike yours, I really like the finished item you posted. It just look really nice. And here, there is limited choice of yarn, I keep knitting using the same type of yarn. It just so boring.
I just posted my knitting in my blog, drop by when you free, and maybe you can give me some advise. Now, I just learn crochet.
