Project Progress: February 2008

Posted on February 26, 2008 - Filed Under Project Progress

I know that February is ending soon and I supposed to update about my projects earlier. I was a bit tied up with our moving plans, so there’s a slight delay in updating about my on going projects. Nonetheless, it’s better to be late than never. If you are new to my hobby blog, check out my updates in January for a better idea of all the projects I was working on.

1. A vest for hubby

Yarn: Zara wool

Knitting needles: 5.0mm

Progress: I’ve completed the back part and I’m working on the front. You will be able to see the cable patterns soon, if I’m not too busy!

2. A colorful dress for Isabelle

Yarn: Katia Surf Print cotton yarn

Knitting needles: 3.75mm

Progress: 5 inches for the back. It’s still a long way to go for this!

3. My silver top

Yarn: Saint Gold

Knitting needles: 4.0mm

Progress: Completed both front and the back but it’s yet to be joined. So, I will get it done as soon as I get back from Bangkok.

4. A multicolor crochet top for me

I haven’t put up the crochet pattern for this top and here it is:

I’m using yarns in different colors from Katia Samoa as well as Lily yarn.

Lily yarns in pink, light purple and purple.

I wonder if the top will be too colorful for me? LOL!

Yarn: Katia Samoa and Lily Yarn

Corchet needles: 4.0mm for first 3 inches, 5.00mm for the next 3 inches and proceed with 6.00mm crochet needles for that A-line effect.

Progress: 5 inches now and changing yarn for every row is slowing me down.

5. Justin’s orange horse tee

Yarn: Brilia cotton yarn

Knitting needles: 3.75mm

Progress: Completed the back of the tee and I’m working on the sleeves and the front part now. The intrasia is going to get me hooked.

5. A blue tee for Justin

Yarn: Perla cotton yarn

Knitting needles: 3.75mm

Progress: I will only knit the back and sleeves. Why? You will know later once it’s completed. :P

I completed a few projects but I didn’t update all about them except this. Besides that, I quit knitting with Katia Tropic as I don’t like the effect of the yarn. That’s why I ended up with a blue scarf for myself with Lily yarn but it’s not started yet.

So, ain’t I busy?

Wow! So buzy… I wonder whether you have more than one pair of the knitting needle as I can see you have a few projects on 4.00mm or 3.75mm needle… you change the same needle from one project to another?
